Directors Background
Having studied at the University of the Western Cape, Shameemah obtained a LLB degree and attended the School for Practical Legal Studies before being admitted as an Attorney in 2012 and as a Conveyancer in 2015. Since 2011, Shameemah worked at different general practices in Cape Town and was exposed to various parts of Law, gaining experience in conveyancing, criminal and civil law, court appearances, drafting of pleadings and documents as well as administering deceased estates. During this time, she gained valuable knowledge about running a firm, due diligence, communication skills, management techniques as well as the specific experience required to supervise legal work and deal with different clients and staff members. Shameemah’s dream since she was young was to open her law firm.
It is her way of giving back to society. After gaining working knowledge and experience at different law firms, she was able to fulfill her ambition and goal to open her law firm which was registered with the Cape Law Society in 2016. The foundation she has been building since then will remain strong through the legal profession but at the core, she desires to help ordinary people from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, through legal assistance. Shameemah is passionate about helping others and has a strong work ethic, combined with an impressive sense of vision and business acumen. She believes in accepting challenges head-on rather than giving up when things get tough and are always looking for great opportunities to grow her business. She founded her company with the dream of providing a varied range of services to her clients.
